What your SaaS tools cost over 3, 5 and 10 years

Add each tool you pay for per seat. Enter how many seats you have and what one seat costs per month, then the yearly price increase you expect. The calculator adds it all up.

Your browser does the arithmetic. What you type is not sent or stored.

Your tools

One percentage for all tools, from 0 to 100. Leave it empty for no increase.

What you pay

Fill in seats and a price for at least one tool to see the totals.

How the calculator works

  • Seats are the paid user licences you have today, per tool. The calculator keeps that number the same in every year. If your team grows, you pay more than it shows.
  • Price is what one seat costs per month, in euro. If you pay per year, divide the yearly price per seat by 12. Enter every tool either with VAT or without it, not a mix.
  • Year 1 costs seats × monthly price × 12. Every following year costs the percentage you enter more than the year before, so the increases compound. At 5%, year 3 costs 1.05 × 1.05 times year 1.
  • The increase is one percentage for all tools and starts in year 2. Real vendors raise prices at different times and by different amounts.
  • Totals are rounded to whole euros.

It counts licence fees only. Integration, training, workflow disruption and the cost of leaving come on top. We wrote about those costs in Data sovereignty as a business decision.
