What CIAO asks

  • Mandatory for cleaning since 1 September 2024, in full since 1 May 2025.
  • For every contract on a declaration of works: start, end and every break.
  • Workers register themselves in real time, never in advance or on their behalf.
  • With the NSSO's link or QR code, or with your own app through the NSSO's web service.

Questions about software for cleaning companies.

Can CIAO be linked to planning and payroll?

Yes, if your people check in through your own app. The NSSO accepts registrations that your own app passes on through its web service. The times then also sit in your database, next to the planning, and go from there to payroll.

Does it work with Exact?

Yes. We connect to Exact, Odoo, Yuki and any platform with an API. Your bookkeeper keeps working in Exact.

Can our client see the reports themselves?

Yes, in a client portal. Nobody has to email them anymore.

Does the app work in a basement or car park without signal?

For reports, photos and signatures, yes. The app works offline and syncs when the connection returns. If a CIAO registration fails, the NSSO has an emergency procedure.
